Move, copy or delete component

VERSION SCAFFMAX 2021

Description

Components from the scaffold can be selected and then moved, copied or deleted.
It is a kind of "pipette function" with which a specific component can be picked up quickly and easily from the scaffold and used elsewhere.
As with manual scaffolding, the click points are also available.

Prerequisites

• A scaffolding has already been created.
• In the system settings, Representation of the components = Simple 2020 is set.

Steps

1. Click Open item list  in the scaffmax command bar.
   

2. Select any component with the left mouse button.
    The line is highlighted in yellow.
   
   

3. Move the mouse cursor to the scaffold.
    The cursor is shown as a crosshair.
   
   

4. Right-click the component you want to use.
    The context menu for the selected component is displayed.
   
   

5. Choose Move or Copy from the context menu.
    The cursor changes to a crosshair and nearby click points are displayed.
   
   
6. Similarly, you can delete the selected component or view the click points.

Result

You have moved, copied or deleted a component from the scaffold or displayed the click points.
