Fit components

VERSION SCAFFMAX 2021

Description

The Fitting components function is available to manually fit a scaffold component from the article list. Use it to add e.g. an additional diagonal brace in a scaffold.

Prerequisites

• A scaffold must have been created.

Steps

1. Click Open item list  in the scaffmax command bar. and select the component group (not a specific component).
    The item group is highlighted.
   
2. Select Extensions > eC-scaffmax > Fitting Components.
    Aternatively, press the appropriate key combination if already assigned.
3. Move the cursor to the position where you want to insert the component.
4. Left-click the first (red) insertion point in the scaffolding.
5. Left-click the second (red) insertion point.
    The component is automatically selected from the selection group and inserted.
6. Click an empty drawing area to complete the process.

Result

You inserted a component and the system automatically used the right size.
