VERSION SCAFFMAX 2021

Description

Components from the product list can be manually inserted into the scaffold. Using insertion points, a preview is shown of how the selected component is inserted into the scaffold.

Note

If you have executed the function Block wall-related scaffolding, activate the tag to which the element is to be assigned in the standard folder.

Prerequisites

A scaffolding has already been created.
In the system settings, Representation of the components = Simple 2020 is set.

Steps

Click Open item list in the scaffmax command bar.
Select an item in the list.
The item is highlighted.
Move the mouse cursor in the direction of the insertion point.
The cursor is displayed as a crosshair.
Move the mouse cursor near the insertion point.
The target turns green and the component is automatically inserted in the right place.
This is a preview for the closest insertion point (component is blue).
The possible docking points are shown as pink dots (see left margin).
The component can be aligned with the arrow keys on the keyboard.
1. ← or → | Rotate the component.
2. ↑ or ↓ | Moving the component in height (along the Z axis).
  With the help of the End key, the alignment of the component can be cancelled.
Left-click to insert the component.
You can place further components.
Press the space bar or click Select in the toolbar to quit the function.

Result

You inserted a component and docked it to the scaffold.
