Description of the function

 

 

 

 

Notes, comments or notes on the drawing can be entered in the journal.
If the drawing is opened by another user, this user can also read the entries of all other users.
The journal can also be transferred to CONNECT.

Prerequisites

  • A drawing is open.

The steps

 

  1. Click on Advanced functions in the program bar.
    The scaffmax functions dialog is displayed.

  2. Double-click the line Journal | Open drawing journal.
    The Drawing journal dialog is displayed.

  3. Click in the lower area and enter the desired text.
    If necessary, format the text by clicking on the B (bold), I (italic) and U (underlined) symbols.

  4. Activate the option with date stamp to automatically generate an entry of the form [Year-Month-Day : User abbreviation from the user list] when the dialog is called up.

  5. Activate the Descending option to sort the entries in descending order by date.

  6. Click Print PDF to generate a PDF file.

Result

You have made an entry in the journal of the drawing.
