Define grid for industrial scaffold
VERSION SCAFFMAX 2021
Description
To create an industrial scaffold, the segmentation for the scaffold must first be defined. To do this, draw a grid with the mouse, the spacing of which is adapted to the set scaffolding system. It is also possible to specify a certain distance in the X and Y directions. Subsequently, individual rows and columns of the grid can be reduced or enlarged.
Prerequisites
- Use a suitable SketchUp template with Top view, e.g. B. Plan View - Units: Meters.
- Check whether the set scaffolding system also supports industrial scaffolding.
Steps
In the scaffmax command bar, click scaffmax Industrial.
The dialog scaffmax Industrial module will be displayed.Click Set grids to open the grid with the standard length of the scaffolding system as a distance.
The cursor changes:
Alternatively, deactivate the option Define grid dynamically and enter the desired distances in the X and Y directions (result see illustration).- Click once with the left mouse button to set the start point.
- Move the cursor to the right to set the X axis.
Put the X-axis parallel to the red axis. The X-axis is the baseline at which the grid is started. The baseline refers to the laying direction for example. - Click once with the left mouse button to determine the number of columns.
- Move the cursor up to set the Y axis.
- Click once with the left mouse button to determine the number of rows.
The grid is created.
Result
You have defined the segmentation for the scaffold. The line and column width of the grid can now be changed or the scaffold can be created.
