Description
Elements can be grouped together, e.g. to extend a scaffold. The group can then be duplicated by copy-and-paste. Items (from the item list), own components and assemblies can be used for this purpose.
For a group to be evaluated correctly in the material list, the group must be assigned to the Konstruktion Construction tag. For this purpose, the group does not have to be exploded, but the individual elements of the group are displayed in the material list under the associated scaffold system. Own components and assemblies are displayed in the tab of the same name.
Example
A substructure consisting of a box (own component), a foundation board and two base plates is available twice.
The left substructure was assembled manually from an own component and items from the item list (Scaffolding system 1.1) and is accordingly located on tag FC_1.1.
The right substructure was created as a copy from the left one and then grouped.
In the material list, only the left substructure is evaluated, the foundation board and the two base plates of the right substructure are listed accordingly in the ± column.

The Konstruktion Construction tag is created automatically when a generated scaffold (see Scaffolding) is neutralized. To do this, proceed as follows (step 1 below is then omitted):
|
Prerequisites
- The tag Konstruktion Construction must be created.
Steps
- In the default tray, create the Konstruktion Construction tag.
Click + to add a tag. - Select the desired elements, right-click the blue frame and select Make Group from the context menu.
You can also drag the elements into the drawing at this stage and then group them. - Select the Konstruktion Construction tag in the default tray - Entity Info.
- Open the Material list in the scaffmax program bar.
The elements of the group are displayed in the material list under the associated scaffold system.
Result
You have formed a group from various elements and assigned the Konstruktion Construction tag to the group. The elements of the group are displayed in the material list under the associated scaffold system; the ± column no longer contains any components. Own components are displayed in the tab of the same name.
