Description

The scaffolding can be divided into different structures with the SET function, e.g. in individual construction phases, layers or fields. To do this, the individual SETs are first created, e.g, a SET can be generated for each construction phase. The structure can be saved and loaded in other projects. In this way, different structures can be created that can be loaded as required.

Steps

  1. Click on Advanced features in the scaffmax command bar.
    (Haken) The scaffmax functions dialog is displayed.
  2. Double-click the line SET.
    (Haken) The SET tool dialog is displayed.
  3. Click the + SET New icon.
    (Haken) A row is added to the table, SET_X is displayed in the Name field.
    (Info) Alternatively, you can load an already saved structure:
    1. Click the  Load SET Structure icon.
    2. Close the SET tool dialog.
    3. Call the function again (repeat step 1).
  4. In the new row, double-click the Name field.
    (Haken) The name can be edited.

  5. Enter a name for the SET and press the Tab key.
    (Haken) The description can be edited.
  6. Enter a description for the SET and press Enter.
    (Haken) The SET is saved until scaffmax is exited.
  7. Repeat steps 2-5 to create the desired structure, e.g. B. 3 construction stages.

  8. Click the  SET save structure icon.
    (Info) With this you can save the SET structure permanently and load it in other projects if required (see step 2).
    (Haken) The Save SET Structure dialog is displayed.
  9. Enter a file name with the extension .set.
    (Haken) The name of the drawing with the ending .set is already specified as the file name.
    (Info) If necessary, change the file folder.
    (Info) The selection list File type is empty, so enter the extension .set for the file name.
  10. Click Save.

Delete SET

  1. Select a SET in the table.
    (Haken) The line is highlighted in yellow.
  2. Click the icon  SET Delete.
    (Haken) The SET is removed from the table.

Result

You have created a SET structure and saved it to use the structure in other projects if required.
