Create project (local)

Description of the function

Use this to create a new project from the current drawing.
Enter a description of the project, the automatically generated project number is used as the file name of the drawing.
The drawing is saved in the project folder shown in the dialog title.

Steps

1. Click on Project management in the program bar.
    The scaffmax project list dialog is displayed.
   
   
2. In the prefix field, if necessary, enter some characters that you want to precede the project number.
   
3. Click the + Create Project icon.
    The project definition dialog is displayed.
    The project number is generated from the prefix (if available, see step 2), the year, a consecutive number and the user abbreviation and is displayed in the project field.
   
   
4. If necessary, select a different user in the user field.
5. Enter a description of the project.
   
6. Click Create.
    A folder with the project number is created in the project folder.
    In the folder with the project number, the drawing is saved with the project number as the file name (extension .skp).

Result

You have created a project and saved the current drawing in the project folder.
