Description
In order to ensure a better evaluation of "exploded" scaffolds, the instance name of the components will be supplemented with a prefix as scaffold system identifier from version 2020 (e.g. 1.2 = internal manufacturer number.internal system number of the manufacturer). Without an update, the material list remains empty.
The function runs automatically in the background when older drawings are loaded.
Note
If you want to be able to continue editing the older drawing with an older version of scaffmax, the drawing must be saved before loading.
If the updated drawing is saved as an older SketchUp version (e.g. SketchUp Version 2019), editing with an older SketchUp version is not possible.

One scaffolding system
Perform the following steps if only one scaffolding system was used in the drawing:
- Set the scaffolding system used in the drawing in the system settings.
- Select Extensions > eC-scaffmax > Component update to scaffmax version 2020 in the pull-down menu.
- Click Update.
Multiple scaffolding systems
If multiple scaffolding systems were used in the drawing, perform the following steps for each system:
- Open the drawing and select all components of the scaffolding system.
- Set the scaffolding system used in the drawing in the system settings.
- Select Extensions > eC-scaffmax > Component update to scaffmax version 2020 in the pull-down menu.
- Click Update.
